Hey there, I'm #poppylee, and I want to share my journey with you. I grew up in Edinburg, Texas, in a bustling household with two sisters and a brother. Education was always important to me, and I pursued my passion by becoming a special education teacher for nearly two decades.
But despite my love for teaching, I felt a pull towards something more. The pandemic gave me and my mom the opportunity to start a podcast, "Morning Meeting with Mom," which became a source of joy and connection for us and our listeners.
However, life threw me a curveball when I lost my beloved Yorkie, Lily. Her passing left me devastated, and I found myself withdrawing from my work and passions. It took time, but I realized that I needed to find a way to channel my grief into something positive.
That's when the idea of
starting a new podcast, combining makeup and motivation, came to mind. But as I reflected further, I realized that reviving "Morning Meeting with Mom" was what I truly needed to do. It became my platform to spread positivity, share birthday wishes, jokes, quotes, makeup tips, and discussions on self-improvement and finances.
Transitioning to my new identity as Poppy Hernandez in Dripping Springs, Texas, I explored various avenues that aligned with my passions, including direct sales and network marketing. But it was guiding and supporting women on their journey to self-discovery and empowerment that truly resonated with me.
Drawing from my experiences in special education and my own personal growth, I authored empowering books aimed at helping women recognize their worth and potential. Through these resources, I aim to inspire others to embrace their uniqueness and pursue their dreams.
My mission is simple: to create a world where every woman feels empowered, confident, and capable of achieving her aspirations. By sharing my experiences, insights, and resources, I hope to foster a community where women support each other and thrive together.
